Does TCP adjust itself to the smallest bandwidth link or to the recieving interval of ACK ?





Well its actually the same thing if you think about it. If you look at the self clocking simulation you can see that the smallest link effect the rate data segments are received and therefor determine the rate the receiever send ACK.
